Client Responsibilities

Equipment Damage

While our equipment is covered by our insurance, clients are financially responsible for any damage to studio equipment caused by:

  • Negligent handling or misuse of equipment

  • Failure to follow staff instructions
  • Unauthorized modification or tampering with equipment

In such cases, clients will be billed for repair or replacement costs at fair market value.

Personal Belongings

Our insurance does not cover client personal belongings. You are responsible for the security and insurance of your own equipment, instruments, and personal items brought to the studio. We recommend:

  • Not leaving valuables unattended
  • Carrying your own equipment insurance if bringing expensive gear
  • Keeping track of all personal items throughout your session

Limitations of Liability

We Are Not Liable For

Red Panda Studio shall not be held liable for:

  • Loss or theft of client personal belongings
  • Data loss from client-owned storage devices
  • Injuries resulting from client negligence or failure to follow safety guidelines
  • Damage to client equipment not caused by our staff or equipment
  • Loss of income or consequential damages from session interruptions
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, power outages, etc.)

Maximum Liability

In any case where Red Panda Studio is found liable, our maximum liability shall be limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific booking in question.

Safety and Prevention

Studio Safety Measures

We maintain a safe environment through:

  • Regular equipment maintenance and safety checks
  • Clear safety guidelines provided to all clients
  • Trained staff present during all sessions
  • Fire safety equipment and emergency procedures
  • Secure premises with controlled access

Client Safety Requirements

To maintain a safe environment, clients must:

  • Follow all staff instructions regarding equipment use
  • Report any hazards or equipment issues immediately
  • Not tamper with electrical systems or safety equipment
  • Keep emergency exits clear at all times
  • Inform us of any health conditions that may affect your session

Incident Reporting

In the event of any accident, injury, equipment damage, or loss, please report it immediately to our staff. Prompt reporting helps us:

  • Address any safety concerns immediately
  • Document the incident properly
  • Process any insurance claims efficiently
  • Prevent similar incidents in the future

Waiver Requirements

Depending on the nature of your session, you may be required to sign a liability waiver before your booking. This waiver:

  • Acknowledges the studio rules and safety guidelines
  • Confirms your understanding of liability limitations
  • Confirms responsibility for equipment you handle
  • Authorizes emergency medical treatment if needed

Waivers will be provided via email before your session or at check-in.
